What types of cards do you offer?

At CCSI, we produce a wide variety of card types to suit your business or organisation’s needs. These include membership cards, loyalty cards, photo ID cards, student cards, key cards, event passes, bag tags, gift cards, NFC cards, medical cards and payment-style cards. We also offer eco-friendly options such as wooden cards and paper cards, as well as accessories like card holders and lanyards. What size and thickness are your plastic cards?

Our standard plastic cards are CR80 credit-card size (approximately 86 mm × 54 mm) and 760 microns thick. For cards with integrated chips (RFID cards), we typically build them to a thickness of 820 microns to accommodate the embedded electronics. We also offer a range of other sizes, such as oversized event passes, thinner polypropylene & paperboard cards, or custom dimensions depending on your needs.

What materials and finishes can I choose from?

We offer cards in PVC plastic, recycled plastic, paper and FSC-certified wood. Finishes include gloss, matte, spot UV, foil stamping, embossing and more. If you need magnetic stripes, QR codes, barcodes, NFC/RFID chips or signature panels, we can embed or print those during production.

Can I get help with my card design or artwork?

Absolutely. You can either supply your own artwork or let our in-house designers help bring your vision to life. We’ll provide digital proofs or printed samples so you can approve the final design before production begins.

What file format and resolution should I use for artwork?

To ensure high-quality results, we recommend artwork in 300dpi resolution, using formats like PDF, AI, EPS, JPEG or PNG. Please make sure to outline fonts and include 3mm bleed if your design goes to the edge (overall document size 92 mm x 60 mm). Don’t worry - we’ll guide you through it.

Do you offer sample cards before I order?

Yes, we’re happy to provide samples to help you visualise the finished product and find inspiration. This is especially useful if you’re unsure of which material or finish best suits your brand.

What is your minimum order quantity?

We don’t impose and MOQ on standard PVC cards, whether you require 1 or 100,000 we’ve got you covered. More complex cards (e.g. oversized or wooden cards) may require higher minimums. Contact us for details and a custom quote.

How long does it take to produce and deliver my cards?

For bureau customers, production and dispatch typically happens within 24 hours of receiving final data and approval. For most standard orders, lead times are 5–12 working days from the point of final artwork approval, while large or highly customised orders may take longer. We’ll give you an accurate estimate upfront.

How much do your cards cost?

Pricing depends on several factors including quantity, material, embedded features (NFC, magnetic stripe, etc.), finishes and whether you need artwork services. We work closely with each client to design solutions that stay within your budget - just get in touch for a tailored quote.

Can you produce NFC or contactless cards?

Yes, we produce NFC-enabled cards and RFID smart cards suitable for access control, tap-and-go systems, loyalty programs and more. We can advise you on the right chip and setup for your application.

Is my data safe when working with CCSI?

Yes - we take data security very seriously. CCSI is fully compliant with the Data Protection Act and is registered under number Z7741914. All data is handled securely, throughout file transfer, personalisation and mail processing.

Are you ISO certified and part of any industry bodies?

Yes. We are ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 27001:2022 certified business. We are also PASS Scheme members and accredited PASS Proof of Age card suppliers.

Do you offer eco-friendly or sustainable cards?

We do. In addition to traditional plastic cards, we offer paper cards, wood cards, biodegradable materials and options using recycled & recyclable plastic. Let us know your sustainability goals and we’ll recommend the best solution.

What payment methods do you accept and what’s your returns policy?

We accept standard business payment methods such as BACS, credit card and invoice (subject to approval). Returns are accepted in cases of defect or production error. If anything goes wrong, we’ll put it right.
