Tiny Build Electrics is a UK-based specialist in off-grid and mobile electrical solutions, serving van conversions, tiny homes and boats. Since incorporation in 2021, they offer design, supply, installation and after-care, with a strong community focus and glowing client reviews.
Challenge
As Tiny Build Electrics continues to grow, they required a branded serial plates to complete their electrical system installs. The requirement was to provide a branded card that could be affixed to a flat surface. The card needed to be clearly visible and also have a tactile element so they could be easily read in low light situations.
Solution
Following our collaborative review, we recommended producing a printed CR80 plastic card with the personalised serial number embossed directly onto it. The reverse side of the card was left blank, as it would not be visible once installed and used as a serial plate.
We initially discussed adding 5 mm holes in each corner to allow the plate to be fixed in place with screws. However, given the tight and enclosed spaces that the Tiny Build Electrics team often work in, a strong adhesive was ultimately preferred for installation.

Result
The cards look fantastic, are built to last and offer a far more cost-effective solution than the aluminium alternatives currently on the market. They can be produced in single unit at a competitive price giving Tiny Build Electrics the flexibility to commission as many new systems as they need.
