A well-established UK golf club partnered with CCSI to modernise its membership identification system. The club required personalised cards that could integrate with its tills and door access points, while also needing a durable bag tag solution to identify members and visitors across the course.
Challenge
The club needed a streamlined way to issue personalised membership cards featuring member names and numbers, along with magnetic stripe encoding for full compatibility with their on-site systems. Additionally, they wanted a secondary card format, with a hole-punch, that could be used as a visible, durable bag tag for quick identification out on the course. Both products had to meet the club’s quality expectations and function reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Solution
CCSI delivered high-quality CR80 PVC cards printed in full colour and personalised with each member’s name and membership number. Each card was encoded with a magnetic stripe to seamlessly integrate with the club’s existing door access and point-of-sale tills, ensuring smooth check-ins and secure access for members.
To support course-side identification, CCSI also produced a robust hole-punched variant. These cards were designed to be fitted as bag tags, offering clear visual identification for staff and marshals and helping differentiate members from guests with ease. Both formats were supplied to match the club’s branding for a consistent, professional appearance.
